OK, so I'm trying to put together a list of competition winners here, but Helen keeps running new competitions and giving away so many prizes that I can't keep up with it!
Are you interested in winning a prize too? Of course you are! Enter our current competition, and you could be the proud owner of a new Lost Forest creature!
Internet Flaterpus Competition, June-July 2000 |
We received so many entries this time that we have decided to award two prizes, one for an overseas entry and one for an Australian visitor.
A book and Flaterpus are now on their way to
Marianne Gill of

Skye Pearse of Clare, South
Australia
Congratulations to the both of you! Our next Online Competition will be ready soon.

Tony the Toymaker Name the Puppet Competition |
Gavin Lee of Hallett Cove, South Australia, aged 9.
Thanks to everyone who entered. Tony thought you came up with some great names!
... were some of the suggestions! But the winning entry from Gavin was
SOCKRATES
what a good name! Gavin won a Giant Puggle!
Internet Splatters Competition, April-May 2000 |
Michael McEwan of Greenwood, Perth, Western Australia, aged 7.
Congratulations Michael! Your prize of a Jolly Jumper and Baby Flaterpus are on their way to you.
Internet Bug Jumper Competition, September 1999 |
Lauren Ferguson of Nairne, South Australia.
Lauren won a Bug Jumper (of course)!
The competition question was "What type of
insects do Bug Jumpers just not like to eat?"
The answer was "Grasshoppers"! Did you get it right?
Cougars Competition, August 1999 |
Ella and Tessa Coulter are the joint winners of our Cougars colouring competition, each winning a Medium Puggle. They received their Puggles at the Cougars Annual Presentation Dinner on the 3rd of September 1999! And here are their entries! |

Internet Tickles Tiger Competition, July 1999 |
Janet Noble of Des Moines, Iowa USA, is the lucky winner of our Tickles Tiger Internet Competition, which closed at the end of July 1999. Congratulations Janet! Instead of a Giant Puggle, Janet chose to receive a selection of books and posters from our range to the same value. She said "When I first went to the site I was enchanted by the pictures and characters. I loved the books. I think I will choose an assortment of books and posters if possible. I have six granddaughters and one grandson so maybe I can find enough books and posters to share with all. I'm a Middle School teacher and enjoying being able to share books."
Of course, the answer to the competition question, "What does Tickles Tiger do to thePuggles?" was that he tickles them! Did you get it right?
Another answer altogether, authored and alliterated astoundingly by David Clark, alleged that "Tickles the Tiger tantalises his tastebuds to the tune of possibly pounds and pounds of Puggle posterior!" However, we can assure you that Tickles Tiger, unlike the early Australian Settlers, doesn't eat Puggles!
